Guidelines

Ridele works when people feel safe enough to be themselves. These are the rules for evenings, chats and meetups. Breaking them can get you suspended or banned.

In a talk

Consent

Nothing about you is shared until you both say yes. Then the chat is yours to use or not. You never owe anyone a reply, a meeting or your number. If someone keeps pushing after you've said no or gone quiet, block them and report it.

Meeting in person

18+ only

Everyone on Ridele is 18 or older. If someone seems younger, report them. We suspend the account until a moderator has looked at it.

Block and report

Block or report from the talk screen, the question after a talk, a match's profile or a chat. Each takes one tap. Blocking ends the talk at once, and the two of you are never paired again. Reporting also blocks. The other person isn't told why the talk ended.

People on our team look at every report within 24 hours. If we act against an account, we tell its owner why and how to appeal. You can appeal a decision once, in the app. A host can also report something that happened at a meetup.

Not in the app? Use the report form.

Emergencies

Call 112 in an emergency. Ridele can't make emergency calls. Need someone to talk to? 113 Zelfmoordpreventie: 0800-0113 (free, 24/7). Slachtofferhulp Nederland: 0900-0101.
